Sun & Sand Sports

 

Sun & Sand Sports is the largest lifestyle brand retailer in the GCC. They have over 250 stores and have the agency for many brands they stock, including Nike, Columbia, North Face and Vans. Their key period for sales is Back to School, as it means children need their sports gear. Sun and Sand Sports wanted kids and teens to identify more with them as a destination for lifestyle gear in addition to the sports gear. 

Campaign Idea

 

Back to School is not about back to class, back to studying, or even about back to sports, it's also about getting back to seeing friends, to hanging and socialising. It's about doing the things kids do...

Activation

 

We all know teens love taking selfies, so we simply asked them to share their selfie with us on #backtochool and offered them the reward of prizes from Sun & Sand Sports.

 

Teens could either do it from their own mobile phone or from the activation stands at cinemas, or certain flagship stores with an iBooth.

 

In-store Key Visuals used the brands and the associated lifestyles, e.g. Vans and skateboarding, to reinforce the lifestyle destination concept.
