Grand Cinemas

The brief was to develop a brand identity for Grand Cinemas, we developed a concept and an integrated campaign for the launch in the UAE and Kuwait. The cinema group launched the campaign in all key markets throughout the GCC, including Lebanon and Oman. The concept was simple, have you ever had a time when you've turned to someone else and just said "Why not?". It's these times when we just say we feel like going to a movie, or out to a restaurant, or simply to be entertained. Grand Cinemas... Always Entertaining.

Brand campaign

Through using simple typography and colour, the brand campaign was developed to entertain the reader, to make them think "Why not?".

Facebook Booking App

In addition to their mobile app for booking seats, Grand Cinemas came out with an application on Facebook. It made life really easy when booking tickets online and inviting friends. You could share the trailer and then agree on Facebook to get tickets.

GC Movie club

Grand Cinemas wanted to launch a Movie Club, where avid cinema goers could enjoy a dinner and movie for an exclusive price. We developed a teaser campaign that created interest, then launched our first night with Hilton Hotels and the screening of World War Z.

Cannes Promotion

Grand Cinemas wanted to reward its loyal movie patrons with a trip for two to the Cannes Film Festival. We simply used the communications mix of owned media, including print and on premise, supported by outdoor, ambient and digital.
