DIFC [Dubai International Financial Centre]

 

DIFC is the heart of the Dubai economy, with 21 of the world's top financial institutions, it's a micro economy unto its own just through its trade in oil and gas. The Gate, seen in the picture below, is the building that greets you when you enter this business and residential community. We used that as a symbol in their 10 year anniversary identity and all the communication developed.

10 Year Identity

 

The symbol incorporates The Gate, the most recognised building at the entrance to DIFC.

We incorporated it into the design of the DIFC

10 Year Anniversary microsite, where business

and opinion leaders could connect in a forum about varying financial issues and opportunities. CEO's told their stories of when they first arrived on a patch of sand in Dubai and how their businesses had grown, their success stories.

Digital

 

We developed a digital campaign targeting Financial media sites and a magazine that would be done through contract publishing, which woulf be called 'The Gate' and featured on an app as well as being distributed in DIFC.

Exhibition

 

We created an interactive stand for their financial faire in London, it allowed users to disover the ten years of DIFC through depicting milestones, with film clips that allowed users to watch CEO's and other opinion leaders discuss opportunities at DIFC.

 

An exhibition was also held for the event at a Gallery in DIFC, here we showed black and white photography of the various people living and working in DIFC.

Print

 

Our print campaign simply celebrated the people, their success stories of living and working in DIFC. These were then used as a brand presence campaign in an around the DIFC.
